A Musical Experiment

OK, I have heard before that if you ask the Universe, or Angels, for signs they will give them to you.  If you ask for guidance on a particular problem, they will help you out.  One suggestion is that you hold your ipod in your hands and ask “Dear Universe (or Angels), please give me guidance.  I need your assistance with . . . Please protect me and be truthful.  Thank you.”  Then you put your ipod to shuffle and play 33 songs (cause 3:33 is the witching hour but 333 songs would be too much.  And I am 33 years old).  So I am going to give it a try.  So here are my songs:

1. “Bottoms Up” by Trey Songz

2. “The Man That Got Away” by Judy Garland

3. “Wheel of the Broken Voice” by Sam Phillips

4. “Rockin To The Beat” by The Black Eyed Peas

5. “Waiting on the World To Change” by John Mayer

6. “The Most Wonderful Day of the Year” by the Glee cast

7. “Let the Beat Hit Em'” by Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam

8. “Wild Horses” by Garth Brooks

9. “Funkytown” by Lipps Inc.

10. “Follow Me” by Uncle Kracker

11. “In My Dreams” by Robert Miles

12. “The Cup of Life” by Ricky Martin

13. “The Avenue Q Theme” by Avenue Q

14. “There is Life Outside Your Apartment” by Avenue Q

15. “Labor Day” by The Black Eyed Peas

16. “Rump Shaker” by Wreckx-N-Effect

17. “Arms” by Christina Perri

18. “Five Colors” by Sam Phillips

19. “Machete” by Moby

20. “Rock You Like A Hurricane” by the Scorpions

21. “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” by the Glee cast

22. “It’s Raining Men” by The Weather Girls

23. “Inside” by Moby

24. “P.Y.T.” by the Glee cast

25. “Boombox” by The Lonely Island

26. “End Theme” by Zero 7

27. “I Will Be” by Leona Lewis

28. “You’re One in a Million” from Miss Congeniality soundtrack

29. “Waffle Stomp” by Joe Walsh (Fast Times at Ridgemont High)

30. “Kodachrome” by Paul Simon

31. “Toxic” by the Glee cast

32. “Right Now” by Garth Brooks

33. “Get It On Tonight” by Montell Jordan

OK, so the verdict is . . . (drum roll please) it kinda works.  The majority of the songs had to do with the question I asked the Universe.  And no I won’t tell you what my question was but I will say this was an informative experiment.  Basically I learned that I have eclectic taste in music and I really need to update my ipod.
